Choose the kind of work
Work mode describes what you want the agent to do. Access mode describes which actions may proceed without a permission prompt. Check both in the composer; choosing a planning mode does not permanently change the mission's stored access preference.
| Mode | Use it for |
|---|---|
| Auto | Carry out the objective and choose the next steps. |
| Plan | Develop a proposal before execution. |
| Ask | Investigate or answer without making changes. |
| Orchestrate | Use an admitted Preview strategy to coordinate specialist work. |
Plan, then execute
Start in Plan when the approach needs review. Read the proposed plan and revise it before approving. Approving the plan switches work back to Auto. It does not replace the access policy or grant every later action unrestricted permission.
Ask a bounded question
Use Ask for explanation and investigation. Plan and Ask constrain effective access to human review for their read-only work. Your stored access choice is retained for later execution.
Remembered choices
Skyflo remembers explicit launch choices for future missions. Each existing mission keeps its own work and access settings. With no explicit access choice, direct Auto execution starts in Full access, while Orchestrate starts in Ask for approval. Inspect the visible selection before sending, especially when switching modes.
