Connect GitHub

Select repositories for Skyflo and manage access to them.

Connect your account

GitHub connection is available on Free as well as paid plans. Open Settings › Source Control and choose the GitHub connection action. Complete the browser flow with the GitHub identity you intend to use, and select the repositories the installation may access.

Return to Skyflo and check the connection state. A successful sign-in and access to a particular repository are separate: an organization can require installation approval or restrict repositories.

Local and Skyflo Cloud work

On the Mac, the connection supports repository operations within the mission's authority. Review the destination repository and branch before asking for a push or pull request.

Skyflo Cloud uses a restricted GitHub path. A mission can push only its own branch and open its own pull request. It cannot push the default branch, write another branch, delete refs, create tags, merge, or publish workflow and action changes. Bring work back to the Mac for operations outside that boundary.

Limit what is shared

Choose only the repositories needed. A mission can read files in its authorized working copy, including secrets committed to that repository. Keeping GitHub credentials off a Skyflo Cloud machine does not remove sensitive data from the repository itself.

Disconnect

Manage the connection in Source Control and review the installation in GitHub when you need to revoke repository access. Removing access can prevent later fetches and pushes; it does not delete local working copies or undo earlier GitHub effects.
