Before inviting an AI meeting agent, establish what it hears, where the conversation goes, what it keeps and what the people in the call can ask it to do. “No recording” answers only one of those questions.
For Skyflo Meetings, the call connects to one mission. Skyflo joins as an AI participant and posts a notice explaining that connection. The same notice is posted for people who arrive later.
What is processed while it listens?
While Skyflo listens, what is said is sent from the host's Mac to OpenAI so it can respond. Skyflo records no audio or video. Those facts belong together: the absence of a recording does not mean the conversation stays entirely on the device.
If the call contains material you cannot send to that service, resolve that before joining. Read the Privacy Notice for the full terms and retention details that apply to Skyflo.
Is a transcript saved?
Save a transcript on this Mac is off by default. The host can turn it on for an individual call. That saves text locally, which can be exported or deleted. It does not create an audio or video recording.
Requests Skyflo acts on are saved to the mission even when there is no saved transcript. If spoken replies are also copied into the meeting chat, those copies follow the meeting platform's chat retention. They are not a complete transcript.
Decide which record you need before the call. Keeping less text and keeping enough context for a later review are different goals; choose deliberately for the meeting in question.
Who can direct the work?
Everyone admitted to the call can ask Skyflo to work on the attached mission. That makes the choice of mission consequential. Provide context and tools appropriate for the whole room, including external guests.
The call does not gain access to other missions. It cannot change the attached mission's access mode, agent or model. Eligible approval requests can be allowed once or rejected from the call; broader permissions are changed in Skyflo on the host's Mac.
For a share, Skyflo uses the mission browser or a single app window the host has granted. This is separate from permission to show the entire desktop.
How can someone stop it?
Anyone in the call can address Skyflo by its selected voice name and ask it to stop listening or leave. After a stop-listening request, the host can turn listening back on from Skyflo. Leaving ends the call's connection to the mission; the mission's existing work can continue.
Make those controls clear to guests. An understandable notice and an easy stop are useful during the actual conversation, not just during setup.
A checklist for the host
- Choose a mission with scope and material suitable for everyone admitted.
- Check that the meeting's content may be processed by the services involved.
- Choose whether to save text and copy replies into chat.
- Grant only the app window needed for a planned demonstration.
- Explain how participants can stop listening or ask Skyflo to leave.
