Skyflo vs Grok Bot
Grok Bot, from SpaceXAI and run in Cursor's cloud, gives you named AI teammates that work on a persistent cloud computer and come back for approvals. Skyflo runs Skyflo's own agent and the coding agents you already use, in missions on your Mac.
A hosted agent for everyday work compared with an operating layer for software work, read against SpaceXAI's and Cursor's own documentation.
Every statement about Grok Bot below is limited to behavior documented on the first-party pages listed at the foot of this page, on the date they were read. Where those pages do not cover a dimension, the table says so instead of guessing.
Grok Bot · documented strength
Each person's Bots share a persistent Linux computer in Cursor's cloud with a browser, files and a terminal. They use plugins where they exist and computer use elsewhere, keep working with the laptop closed, run skills and routines, and hand passwords, payments and risky actions back to you. Team Bots, in public beta, share context and memory across a team.
Skyflo · where it sits
Skyflo is built for software work: one mission holds the goal, Skyflo's own agent or a coding agent you already use, the access mode and the record, on your Mac by default, with Skyflo Cloud for eligible missions on paid plans.

The decision.
Do you want AI teammates that work on a hosted computer across your apps, or missions that run your coding agents on your repositories?
Grok Bot is built for broad work on a cloud computer: email, documents, the browser and business apps, with coding handed to Cursor's cloud agents. Skyflo is built for software work with the coding agents you already use, on your Mac by default, under an access mode you choose and with a record you keep.
Not run by Skyflo. Skyflo does not run or connect to Grok Bot. It can run Grok CLI, SpaceXAI's Grok Build coding agent, inside a mission.
Choose Grok Bot when
01- Most of the work lives in email, calendars, documents, slides and web apps rather than repositories.
- You want agents on a hosted computer that keep working while your laptop is closed and hand you logins and payments.
- Your team already buys Cursor or SuperGrok plans, and Team Bots with SSO and admin controls through Cursor fit how you work.
Choose Skyflo when
02- The work is software, and Claude Code, Codex, Cursor Agent or Skyflo's own agent should do it on your repositories.
- Work should run on your Mac by default, under an access mode you choose for each mission, with its record kept on the Mac.
- What finished missions prove should become memory linked to its source, and a command sequence proven in two repositories should become a Skill.
You might use both when
Use Grok Bot for work across your apps and inbox, and Skyflo for software missions that run your coding agents on your repositories.
Skyflo vs Grok Bot, dimension by dimension
Work-platform comparisons use 10 dimensions suited to agents for broad work, including the ones where Grok Bot is stronger. A row reading “not addressed” means the reviewed documentation does not cover it, which is not the same as the product lacking it.
| Dimension | Skyflo | Grok Bot |
|---|---|---|
| 01What it is for | Software work. Skyflo gives a goal to Skyflo's own agent or the coding agents you already use, and holds the goal, access and record in one mission. Engineering is where Skyflo starts; it is not a general assistant for email or documents today. | Persistent AI teammates for everyday work across email, documents, the web and business apps. Coding is handed to Cursor Cloud Agents and Projects. |
| 02Unit of work | A mission: one goal with its conversation, the agents working on it, the access mode and the record. It persists between sessions and goes idle rather than closing. | A named Bot with a job, its conversations and its context. Skills save reusable instructions, and routines run them on a schedule or an event. |
| 03Where it runs | On your Mac by default, in your own repositories. On a paid plan an eligible mission can start in or move to Skyflo Cloud, a machine Skyflo runs for that mission, and keep working while the Mac sleeps. | Each user's Bots share one persistent Linux computer, a dedicated microVM in Cursor's cloud hosted in the US. Optional commands on your own machine ask per command by default. On-premises deployment is not supported. |
| 04Agents and models | Skyflo's own agent plus seven external coding agents on their own sign-ins: Codex, Claude Code, Cursor Agent, Antigravity, Grok CLI, OpenCode and Pi. Skyflo's own agent uses included models on paid plans or your Moonshot or Z.ai key. | Grok Bot's own agents. Cursor picks the model for each request, from SpaceXAI or third-party providers, with no model picker. Running other vendors' agents inside a Bot is not documented. |
| 05Apps, browser, and computer use | Skyflo's own agent works with code, files, a browser and a terminal you can share, and can schedule automations while Skyflo is open. A GitHub connection comes with every plan; connectors to other business systems are Planned. | Plugins for apps such as Gmail, Notion and Slack, a browser, files and a terminal on the cloud computer, and computer use where no plugin exists. You can watch the screen live and take over. |
| 06Approvals and safety checks | You choose one access mode per mission, from Ask for approval to Full access, and it applies to every agent in it, with each decision recorded. New Auto missions start in Full access; Orchestrate starts in Ask for approval; Plan mode waits for your approval. | Allow once, Always allow and Deny on proposed actions, plus Auto Review, a separate model that checks risky actions before they run. Passwords, two-factor codes, CAPTCHAs and payments are handed back to you. |
| 07Memory and context | Personal memory on your Mac, learned from finished missions, each memory linked to its source. You can inspect, remove or turn off learning. It does not travel to Skyflo Cloud, and organization-wide memory is Planned. | Each Bot remembers preferences, role context and summaries of past work. You correct or remove a memory by telling the Bot; a separate memory viewer is not documented. |
| 08Working with other people | Built around one person's missions today. A paired iPhone or iPad, in Preview and App Store review, can follow missions and approve actions. Shared team workspaces are Planned. | Team Bots, in public beta on Teams and Enterprise, are published to a team with shared team memory, private notes per person and their own Slack handle. |
| 09Team and enterprise controls | No central administration yet: team administration, organization-wide memory and contracted enterprise controls are Planned. Companies evaluate Skyflo in a pilot with individual accounts. No SSO, SCIM or compliance certification is claimed. | Through Cursor: SAML SSO on Teams and Enterprise, and SCIM, audit logs, network policy and action recording on Enterprise. Cursor's maker holds ISO/IEC 27001 and 42001 certifications that cover Grok Bot. |
| 10Availability and price | Skyflo for Mac on macOS 14 or later. Free with your own agents and keys, no card; Core ($10), Pro ($30) and Max ($120) a month add included models, Voice Mode and Skyflo Cloud. | Launched in beta in August 2026. Included with Cursor Pro ($20), Pro+ ($60) and Ultra ($200), SuperGrok plans ($30 to $300) and Cursor Teams ($40 or $120 a seat), with weekly included usage. Desktop on macOS, Windows and Linux, plus iOS and Android. |
