An AI Engineer in Your Meeting: From Blocker to Verified Work

Bring a Skyflo engineering mission into a standup or debugging call, investigate a real blocker and keep the changes and checks together.

An AI engineer that joins your meeting should be able to investigate the issue people are discussing. For a development team, the useful output might be a reproduced failure, a proposed patch or a test result that changes the next decision.

Skyflo coordinates coding agents inside missions. Meetings lets the room direct one of those missions by voice in Google Meet, Zoom or Microsoft Teams. The agent's repositories, tools and access still determine what work it can do.

Pick a blocker with a clear check

Consider an illustrative standup: checkout sometimes rejects a valid discount, and nobody knows whether the problem is in the client or the API. The meeting does not need a confident guess. It needs a reproduction and evidence about the failing boundary.

Prepare a mission with the relevant repositories and a bounded instruction:

Investigate the discount rejection. Reproduce it before editing. Keep the public API compatible. Show the failure, any proposed change and the checks you ran. Leave merging and deployment for review.

This is a workflow example, not a claim that Skyflo has fixed your checkout. Your code, environment and available credentials determine what it can verify.

Ask for evidence during the discussion

Bring that mission into the call and ask Skyflo to investigate. The team can continue discussing the release while the mission works. When a result comes back, ask questions that distinguish observation from inference:

  • Which input reproduced the failure?
  • What did the test actually report?
  • Does the proposed change affect another repository?
  • Which checks remain unrun?

If the evidence points to a different cause, steer the same mission. That keeps the investigation and its corrections together instead of spreading them between a transcript, a chat and a new coding session.

Keep the team's decisions visible

A failing test is evidence about that test. A passing local suite is evidence about the local suite. Neither establishes production health on its own. Ask for an output that names the changed files, checks performed and remaining uncertainty.

The room can direct the attached mission and answer eligible approvals with allow once or reject. It cannot change the mission's access mode, agent or model from the call. Set those in Skyflo before involving other participants, particularly guests.

For a review, Skyflo can show the work in the call through its supported browser or granted app window. Showing a result should accompany the checks that support it.

Hand off the next task before leaving

End with a specific instruction: draft the pull request summary, document the reproduction or investigate the remaining failing test. Skyflo can leave the call while the mission carries on. Return to the mission to inspect the result and decide what should land.

This works best for debugging sessions, release reviews and planning discussions where a concrete question can be answered from the project's actual material. A standup that only needs status may need no agent participation at all.
