Can an AI Agent Give a Live Product Demo in a Meeting?

How Skyflo shows and operates an app during a call, and how to prepare a bounded demo that can handle questions.

An AI agent can give a live product demo when it can see and operate the app, share the permitted surface and respond to the people watching. A narrated slide deck and an interactive demo solve different jobs. Choose the format around what the audience needs to inspect.

Skyflo can show its mission browser or a single app window the host has granted, then operate the app while talking through the visible steps. This happens inside the meeting attached to that mission. The Meetings launch essay explains the sharing and demo behavior.

Prepare the actual app

Use a demo account with representative data and a clear starting state. Complete sign-in yourself and grant the intended app window in Skyflo's computer-use settings when using a native app. Write down what the audience should understand by the end.

A useful illustrative instruction is:

Show how a project owner creates a draft, reviews it and returns to the project. Use the sample account. Stop before publishing, purchasing or changing account permissions. Answer questions from what the app and documentation show.

Check the path yourself first. A demo account that needs a password reset halfway through is a setup problem, and a script cannot make unavailable functionality appear.

Let the room change direction

Ask Skyflo to show the app in the call. A live demo should follow the visible application state: explain what is there, operate a control and inspect the result. If a participant asks a question or redirects the walkthrough, the current request takes precedence over the prepared route.

This matters when someone asks, “Can you show the empty state?” or “What happens if I go back?” The purpose of a live demo is to inspect behavior, including a state the original route did not cover.

Skyflo's demo behavior includes brief progress updates during slow operations. A loading state remains a loading state until the app shows the result. The walkthrough should not describe a completed action while the room is still watching it run.

Know which kind of demo system you need

Showdini markets an AI sales rep that shares and operates a real product. Supademo describes agents trained with demo material for buyer walkthroughs. Those are useful categories to compare with a mission-led demonstration in an existing meeting.

Skyflo's workflow starts with a mission and a permitted surface. It does not establish that you have a trained, unattended sales representative for every visitor to your site.

Keep the boundaries explicit

A share is limited to the mission browser or the granted app window. It is not permission to broadcast the whole desktop. Controls that require an owner decision, such as sign-in, payment, accepting terms or granting permission, remain for the person.

For missions using ChatGPT or Claude, sharing, presenting and demos require Full access. Set up the mission deliberately before the call. Test with safe sample data and confirm what the audience can see.

Review the current Meetings requirements before your first demo. For account preparation and follow-up, pair this with the sales-call workflow.
