Six parts, one install.

Everything below is in the free plan. Paid plans change capacity, not which of these you get.

pkg.01

Mission engine

The six-state loop, from discovery through what gets remembered. State is written to disk, so a restart or a model swap does not end the mission.

state persisted on disk

pkg.02

Specialist agents

An orchestrator, focused specialists in isolated worktrees, and a read-only reviewer.

bounded role capabilities

pkg.03

Execution surfaces

Code, browser, terminal, monitors, and automations remain attached to the same mission.

one local mission loop

pkg.04

Engineering knowledge

Accepted, source-linked personal memory that a later mission can retrieve and review.

scoped · cited · forgettable

pkg.05

Project instructions

Repository-specific conventions, runbooks, and guardrails that specialists can load for the work in scope.

carried across surfaces

pkg.06

Independent review

A separate profile can read files, search, and report without mutation authority.

mutationAllowed: false

Three model-access lanes.

Use an installed harness or a supported provider key. Managed model access is not available yet.

How the orchestrator routes work between models

lane 1

Existing harness access

Use a supported coding harness already installed and signed in on your Mac.

provider-direct lane

lane 2

Supported provider keys

Add a Moonshot or Z.ai key. Skyflo keeps it in your macOS Keychain.

provider-direct lane

lane 3

Managed inference

A separately metered model catalogue for eligible paid plans.

managed lane

Key custody: BYOK credentials stay in the macOS Keychain. Provider-direct lanes use your provider account. Managed inference is metered separately.

Install to first review report.

Register the checkouts, hand over one objective, approve the plan, and read what comes back.

  1. 1

    Connect

Register the Git checkouts the objective touches. The mission opens read-only.

  2. 2

    Give the objective

One sentence. Discovery reads the registered checkouts it reaches and drafts one plan across them.

  3. 3

    Approve the plan

Plan mode blocks the turn. Nothing is implemented until you approve the boundary.

  4. 4

    Read the report

A review report from an agent that cannot edit, plus the memory records the mission proposes.

the desktop app runs the same loop without the terminal

Four steps to a first mission.

What each step needs, in order, from the current Desktop build to a bounded mission on your Mac.

01Download

Choose the build for your Mac and unpack Skyflo Desktop.

02Install

Move Skyflo to Applications, open it, and complete one-time activation with a free Skyflo account.

03Check access

Skyflo finds supported signed-in harnesses automatically. Add a Moonshot or Z.ai key only if you need one.

04Run

Start a bounded local mission and read the work and review report it produces.

Check the build before you open it.

Every release publishes the SHA-256 of both architectures. Compare the digest on your Mac against the one below, then open the app.

The digest it prints must match the one listed above for your architecture. If it does not, delete the file and download it again rather than opening it.

First run

  1. 1

    Open the download

Double-click the .dmg in Finder to open the Skyflo installer.

  2. 2

    Move it to Applications

Drag Skyflo into the Applications folder in the installer window. Once it finishes copying, eject the installer.

  3. 3

    Open it

Open Skyflo from Applications. The app is signed and notarized. Confirm Open if macOS asks whether to open an app downloaded from the internet.

  4. 4

    Activate, then check model access

Activate the installation once with a free Skyflo account. Skyflo then checks supported harnesses already signed in on this Mac and selects the first ready one. If none is ready, add a supported Moonshot or Z.ai key. After activation, local work can continue while signed out.

Questions

Before you install.

Cost, custody, and platform support. For plan details, read the full pricing page.

01What can the current Desktop harness do?+

It can hold persistent missions, block on plan approval, delegate isolated specialists, use browser and terminal surfaces, run monitors and automations, and retrieve cross-mission memory.

02Where do agents run?+

Agents run on your Mac using your repositories and local credentials.

03What model access do I need?+

Skyflo checks for supported harnesses already signed in on your Mac. You can also add a supported Moonshot or Z.ai provider key. Managed model access is not available yet.

04How do I get Skyflo Desktop?+

Click Download for Mac. If your browser cannot detect your chip, choose Apple silicon or Intel. Installation instructions are below.

Start with one bounded objective.

Download Skyflo, let it find model access on your Mac, register the repositories in scope, and approve the plan before implementation begins.

Free with your keys, with no markup on BYOK or provider-direct usage.
